Treasurer (Voluntary)

JWA has grown significantly over the last few years and we are keen to recruit talented members to join our active and committed Board of Trustees.

We are seeking a candidate with appropriate experience to become JWA’s Treasurer.  In particular, we are looking for a candidate who is a qualified chartered accountant and who has a good understanding of charity accounting.

Successful candidates will be expected to attend 8 board meetings and one away day each year as well as participate on Board sub-committees, and attend regular finance meetings.

Safer Dating Coordinator

14 hours per week

£22,956 fte (depending on experience)

JWA’s Safer Dating programme exists in order to educate Jewish 16 – 25 year olds about domestic violence and signs of abusive or unhealthy relationships. The role will include creating and delivering sessions and events for a variety of settings. It will also involve building and maintaining the programme including social media.

The JWA team is based in North London, this post will be based in our head office with outreach work across the UK. You’ll be enthusiastic, creative, and able to work with a wide range of young people and adults. Understanding of domestic violence and knowledge of the Jewish community is also essential.
