Safer Dating Project Worker

Hours: 14 hours per week

Salary: Up to £24,000 pro rata (FTE) depending on experience

The “Peer-led” Safer Dating programme for 16 – 25 year olds has now been running for a year. We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic individual who can continue to grow the programme and build strong relationships with groups across the community.

Our ideal candidate will have experience of writing and delivering informal education on sensitive topics to young people, will understand the experiences of teenagers and young adults in today’s society and will be able to make the topic of healthy relationships accessible and relatable to a range of audiences. Understanding of domestic violence and knowledge of the Jewish community is also essential.

Jewish Women’s Aid is the only charity in the UK working with Jewish women, and their children, affected by domestic violence. The JWA team is based in North London, this post will be based in our head office with outreach work across the UK.

Treasurer (Voluntary)

JWA has grown significantly over the last few years and we are keen to recruit talented members to join our active and committed Board of Trustees.

We are seeking a candidate with appropriate experience to become JWA’s Treasurer.  In particular, we are looking for a candidate who is a qualified chartered accountant and who has a good understanding of charity accounting.

Successful candidates will be expected to attend 8 board meetings and one away day each year as well as participate on Board sub-committees, and attend regular finance meetings.
