Support for Jewish men

One in six men will be affected by domestic abuse in their lifetime. Some Jewish men experience domestic violence, in all of its different forms. Although Jewish Women’s Aid does not provide services for men, we recognise that this is an issue, and we can help by referring men to services that would be helpful and supportive to them.

Need Support?  There are services available to help, which will not judge or force their opinions on you. You will be given objective and caring advice, and shown your options so that you can make informed choices. They will give you the space to make your own decisions. You will be believed, accepted, validated and supported.

We recommend:

- Men’s Advice Line 0808 801 0327 www.mensadviceline.org.uk

- Mankind Initiative 01823 334244 www.mankind.org.uk

Remember: If you are in danger, call the Police on 999. Police help is fast and effective, and the Police can contact an appropriate agency for you.

Worried about a Perpetrator? JWA works closely with RISE Mutual (www.risemutual.org), which provides support to male perpetrators of domestic abuse. You can contact them by email on info@risemutual.org, or by phone 020 7428 8430

IF YOU ARE AFFECTED BY DOMESTIC ABUSE, JEWISH WOMEN’S AID IS HERE TO HELP YOU.
