Young people

In the young people’s section of this website, we try to answer some of the most common questions that young people ask us. Most of our work with young people is in schools, where we run sessions about healthy and unhealthy relationships, and help young men and women think about the skills they need for building relationships in the future.

We are also able to support young women who are worried about their own intimate relationships. Abuse in teenage or young people’s relationships is the same as in older relationships; it is about power and control. If your partner is trying to control you by using fear, violence or intimidation, you are being abused. Anyone who feels forced to alter their behaviour because they are frightened of their partner’s reaction is being abused.
