Watch Ilana Hutchinson, Co-Director of Outreach and Prevention at Jewish Women’s Aid and Jessica Overlander-Kaye, PaJeS Wellbeing Manager and JCOSS Wellbeing Practitioner, in this vital conversation exploring the impact of social media on young people and how adults can help.

Who we are and what we do

Our introductory video provides an overview of our work. It highlights the vital services we offer to support Jewish women and children affected by domestic abuse and sexual violence.

You'll also learn about our outreach and educational programmes which promote a healthy culture across our community.

Nicole's Story

This powerful monologue, performed from the perspective of a Jewish Women’s Aid client, shares the raw and deeply personal journey of one woman’s experience of domestic abuse. From the early days of charm and love to the slow erosion of her independence and safety, this performance highlights the hidden signs of coercive control, the impact on children, and the lasting trauma caused by abuse.

Told with honesty and emotional resonance, actress Louisa Clein brings to light the silent suffering many women endure—and the hope and support that JWA offers when they reach out.

Jewish Women’s Aid is the only specialist organisation in the UK supporting Jewish women and girls affected by domestic abuse and sexual violence.
