Our Outreach and Prevention Team Trains 220 Youth Leaders! 17.08.2023

What a month it’s been for our Outreach and Prevention team!

They travelled up and down the country to train 220 youth leaders staffing four summer camps for Habonim Dror UK, BBYO UK, Bnei Akiva UK and LJY-Netzer! They had amazing engagement from participants in exploring setting and maintaining healthy boundaries and relationships on camp, and how to recognise harmful culture.

96% of participants said they would recommend this training.

What youth leaders liked best:

  • “Seeing different people’s opinions in the healthy/unhealthy activities”
  • “Talking about scenarios that we might face and how to deal with them”
  • “Sharing opinions with others and listening to theirs helps foster a positive vision for camp”
  • “I loved how interactive the sessions were”
  • “More space to talk, e.g., trainers leaving more silence gaps to give people opportunities to talk”
  • “Feeling comfortable saying what I might need from others”

96% of participants said they would recommend this training.
